I'd argue that, for the metrics, it's vastly MORE important that viewers turn this off. There's more viewers than streamers, so even if every streamer turned this off, if viewers don't, the executives can still claim that "most users don't care" and cram it down our throats even harder. Opt out.

Wow, I did not realize how the GameCube had an attachment rate of nearly 10 games per console. Meanwhile the Switch 2 is barely at 2 and a half. I imagine that'll change with Fire Emblem to an extent, Pokemon next year, and the inevitable mainline Mario and Zelda titles.
