So, thinking about my generic fantasy game idea, one of the things I'll need to make are potions. An idea I like is having different types of potion and potion-like items differentiated by the shape and decoration of the bottle. EG Potions VS weapon oils VS Alchemical explosives.

Slightly tempted to start on my gamedev bullshit again, only this time around make a generic fantasy game. I'm a shameless enjoyer of various fantasy tropes, and incorporating those into an actual game feels like a thing that needs to happen. Plus, basically ALL my old game ideas can be upcycled.

So I've made progress re-developing my slimegirl characters. I've decided I'm actually keeping their names, except *maybe* one of them since it's a little too scifi. I've also decided that they're like slime succubi. They feed off the emotions of others, and each has a "Favorite food".

Thinking about TTRPGs again, I like the idea of uncapped leveling. Being able to put as much into a character as a campaign allows for. Challenge is, this makes power scaling extremely difficult, especially if characters are allowed to build both high AND wide. You can't balance of level alone.

Favorite quirk of PF2E is probably how Battle Medicine's cooldown works when more than on person has it. Namely, the immunity is per person in both directions. IE each person can BE healed by every healer, and every healer can heal every person. Literally exponential free healing.

If not getting your own way is like muscle building for being a good person, it makes several things make sense. Why the wealthy/powerful are assholes, why the poor tend to be some of the nicest people (when they have the option to be) and why everyone between falls on a lopsided gradient.
