I feel like the ease and speed of technology, and how we (almost) worship it has helped disintegrate a sense of a shared morality. Whether X, StarLink, Tesla, Facebook, Amazon, etc. they all suck people in, and people make excuses to keep using them.

Everyone is forced to use online systems, but practically nome of them have addressed whole life/whole system design. Just "Keep the hackers out!"

I still see three big problems, and they're never addressed, and they are all related: 1) Needing access to same site from multiple devices 2) Shared accounts with spouses 3) Gaining access in event of death or medical incapacity.

That Trump is targeting Somalis now should not be surprising. Yes, he has always been virulently racist--back to his days of where his rental properties were discriminating--but he is desperate now so he is pulling out many of the old tricks. This should sound like the Haitians eating cats thing.

In 1938, the Nazis renamed horses.
NAZIS RENAME HORSES

Police Mounts Tagged According to Year of Birth

BERLIN - The German law of system and order made itself felt in a new field today, when it was announced that hereafter all horses belonging to the police forces in the Reich must be named alphabetically according to the year in which they were born -- those born in 1931 must have names beginning with A, those born in 1932 names beginning with B, and so on.

Suggestions for suitable named published today include Aida, Arthur, Amalasuntha, Adelaide, Ballade, Bronislawa, Chloe and Cyrus. Horses born before 1931 may keep their present names. All others will have to be renamed according to the new system.
