Ford got caught handing out millions to well-connected insiders and Conservative donors. Now he's adding paperwork to make it look better. But the hidden truth is that the minister's office still picks the winners. Until that changes, expect more of the same.

Ford government says it’s tightened rules for next round of skills development funding
A year after the auditor general excoriated Premier Doug Ford's Skills Development Fund, his government says the program increasingly targets "high paid" manufacturing and construction jobs.

The Ford government is closing WSIB offices making it harder for injured workers to access services and supports they deserve. Instead of cutbacks that force thousands of injured workers into poverty, the province should fix the system.

Doug Ford is all words, no action. He promised $5 billion to protect Ontario businesses from Trump's tariffs. Two years in, he's given $100m to one steel company and only spent $40M across all other businesses.

What do you have to hide Doug? Ford is slowly eroding the media’s access to the government, because they know their policies are unpopular. Press freedom is a critical part of our democracy and the Ontario Greens will always be transparent and available to our media, since we have nothing to hide.

No one should ever face violence at their own doorstep for holding public office. I’m relieved Salma and her family are safe. Those responsible must be held fully accountable. Attacks like this strike at the foundation of our democracy, and there can be no tolerance for political violence in Ontario

The greatest tragedy of this trade war is that it will disproportionately affect those already struggling. It is easy to feel discouraged, but working together as Team Ontario, we can take concrete action to support those who need it most.

This data centre fight is bigger than just Hamilton. It's a fight for the future of our communities, our water, and our land. It's time to take our power back from the tech billionaires and their friends in Ford's government.

As a party leader, it’s my responsibility to create a culture where this is unacceptable behaviour. Now Ford calls it “politics as usual”. I agree with him, this is Ford’s usual politics. Toxic, self-interested and no accountability. But it doesn’t have to be. Ontario deserves a better politics.

Doug Ford's pipeline pipe-dream is a massive giveaway to oil and gas companies that does nothing to lower your energy bills. The real path to energy security and good jobs is made-in-Ontario renewable energy. Stop putting corporate profits ahead of affordability for everyday people.

Demand for EVs in Ontario is down, and it's no surprise. Ford's policies have undermined the EV market at every turn. The Ontario Greens would bring back the EV affordability rebate, and build the charging infrastructure needed.

Overnight the Ford government secretly advanced legislation that will make FOI requests - the main way you and I find out what Ford is up to behind the scenes - dramatically more restricted. Today, they will force a vote to make it law. This is completely undemocratic. What have they got to hide?
