Bad Bunny uses electricity poles because in Puerto Rico they symbolize a broken promise; modern life that collapses in storms. After Hurricane Maria, the wires showed who was neglected, who waited in the dark, and who power actually serves.

In anthropology, we often refer to this impetus as "the Tyranny of Taxonomy." By virtue of forcing various phenomena into categories that can be quantified, you create the illusion that such categories are "real." Rather than methods through which to think about similarities and differences.

One downside to handles are domains is if I put @justingarrison.com on a slide and someone doesn’t know about Bluesky handles they won’t know where to find me CNAME records to redirect.bsky.app is a nice feature for people who don’t have anything hosted on their handle domain
