we need more #opengeo stuff going on here on atproto, in our posts sure but in our apps for sure. i feel like the atproto location systems are somewhat trying to make their own atproto multiverses happen. but there's gotta be good tie ins: some uri's for location/place that we ought be max'ing on.

less clear a win but something that helps: ask the agent to make epics and tickets for the work. i don't think it's _just_ the decades of my own usage, i think the act of decomposing the mysterious & important work into a real plan can ground the discussion directly.

"slop" still feels semi accurate broadly and it's not something i'm afraid to identify my stuff with, tag my gen's with. but i'm getting a bit burned out from it. everything became vibe coding devalued the idea. slop being everything gen'ed devalues it. i just want some other sensible terms too.

having a big ai model write a ton of big plans, then forking the session and using a (perhaps) small model to chat about it, learn about it, dissect it is so unbeatable. dont poison the context, chat out of band, learn. out of the main context. with a perhaps not so dastardly expensive model.

vm's just sound to be awful overhead to me. but i do recognize that: we've spent a lot of time carefully optimized/pruned context-switching / security ring handoff across vm's. meditation: v8 manages it's own resources, own workfload. own boundary layers. in ways the os is oblivious, can't tune.

Not to be token-counting too much but pretty happy I got from -30% pro-rata weekly usage to +10% today on chatgpt plan. And just had a reset land. Nice. Could have been a bigger lead but I was being pretty cautious and giving tons of work to glm too. Didn't expect anything today. Just catching up+.

Who knows but good chance this is week #1 where the public gets to enjoy moderately fresh hardware for inference. OpenAI Ultrafast is probably GB300? Guessing a bit based on rumors here. Also, has *quite* the premium (6x). But: the public (their wealthier bits at least) on frontier hardware.

Told Sol I had a very important stuck process (opencode) and it samples the threads, found a busy one, ran perf against the one busy thread, sampled memory, found the stack var I = 0 for the loop it was stuck in and started reporting progress through the loop. Wildly awesome.

Well, that's a new one. Chatgpt either had some file server error and lost half of one of this mornings images, or, I suspect, somehow went back and deleted the bottom half of it by design. A very very very delayed content warning indicator for a new image request. And a gone lower-half an image.
