Beneath a swirling tile mosaic sea filled with fish and squid, two mountain giants surround a rural village who are burning a wicker man in their honor.

i should clarify, when i write people doing bad things, it's because i am bad. they are me. more importantly, when you read about those bad things, they also become you. that's how story works. in fact, you are going to think about murder before this skeet ends. how's that feel, sicko.

My eternal frustration with Wonder Woman is that it could be much more credible with only a few small changes. For example, if you give the plane a second set of wings, it's a lot more believable, due to bi invisibility.

The magic in that country was so thick and tenacious that it settled over the land like chalk-dust and over floors and shelves like slightly sticky plaster-dust. (Housecleaners in that country earned unusually good wages.) If you lived in that country, you had to de-scale your kettle of its encrusta-tion of magic at least once a week, because if you didn't, you might find yourself pouring hissing snakes or pond slime into your teapot instead of water. (It didn't have to be anything scary or unpleasant, like snakes or slime, especially in a cheerful household magic tended to reflect the atmosphere of the place in which it found itself-but if you want a cup of tea, a cup of lavender-and-gold pansies or ivory thimbles is unsatisfactory. And while the pansies-put dry in a vase-would probably last a day, looking like ordinary pansies, be-fore they went greyish-dun and collapsed into magic dust, something like an ivory thimble would begin to smudge and

crumble as soon as you picked it up.) The best way to do it was to have a fairy as a member of your household, because she (it was usually a she) could lay a finger on the kettle just as it came to a boil (absentminded fairies could often be recognised by a pad of scar-tissue on the finger they favoured for kettle-cleaning) and murmur a

Reflecting on a couple months at Palantir
There's a few things that make this company utterly unique:
1. Speed at Scale
Palantir's ability to quickly deliver value to customers is unmatched. This speed-to-value is driven by the company's Forward Deployed Engineer model.
After identifying the highest-leverage problem to tackle, the next step is getting on-site and directing Palantir's technology to solve it. No endless scoping, whiteboarding, or POCs.LinkedIn post continued:

3. Unapologetic Conviction
That begs the question: How do you attract this kind of talent?
Bar none, the thing that sets Palantir apart is how publicly opinionated the company's leadership is.
In a corporate culture overrun by identity politics and wokeism, Palantir's unapologetically meritocratic, pro-Western positioning is a breath of fresh air to people who just want to dedicate themselves to improving the world through hard work, without the politics.
Thrilled to be here - if you're interested in learning more or perhaps considering a role change, hit me up. Would love to chat!
