That's a first for me, Barry. If they start sending these, it will be a great benefit for users by letting them know exactly what Google will accept and won't. I hope it's the beginning of something larger.

Saw a couple of fun new elements on a GBP this morning: an AI-generated summary, and the option to report it. The summary is nicely detailed, and the option to report it will be very helpful over time (I've had a lot of business owners contact Support when they were wrong).

If you posted about it from your account, appeal it in the tool, and if that doesn't work, post on the forum about it.

Amy Toman @bubblesup.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

Yes, appeal responses are still running 4+ weeks from what I'm seeing. There are a few quick responses, but the majority are taking at least a month. Very hard for small business owners. : (

Happy birthday! In New Jersey's early days, on dark nights at the beach, folks on land would create decoy lighthouses, lure boats to sandbars, then steal their contents. They were called "mooncussers" because it couldn't be done on moonlit nights. en.wiktionary.org/wiki/mooncus....

Real estate folks...I'm sure no one in your market is using this brand-building SEO tactic. It boosted my wife's GBP engagement by 50% during the *slowest* time of year, and she's now having the best Q1 of her career. I show exactly what to do in today's Marketing Unlocked VIP newsletter.

Good thread, @stefansomborac.bsky.social . Since reviews were turned off, schools that changed management were stuck with poor reviews with no way of bringing in new ones that accurately reflected their current state. With this new setup, their GBPs are in a sort of neutral state.

No, just Gypsy. And I just can't see Sunset Boulevard; the movie and its cast remain one of my absolute faves, and I don't know that the new interpretation would work for me. If you go, I'd love to hear your thoughts. (We live an hour south or so, so I can go whenever)
