For more than a week, conservative media and politicians have worked themselves into a frenzy over a spectacle manufactured by a fencer who refused to compete against a 19-year-old trans woman. Here is the target of that hate campaign, finally, in her own words.

no lies detected. #civilrights
The image shows a text post from a tumble user with the handle "theconcealedweapon" making an argument about the importance of protecting the rights of criminals as a safeguard against government tyranny. The post presents the following key points:

If you want to prevent government tyranny, ensuring criminals have rights must be your top priority
This is not meant as a joke or exaggeration
Without rights for criminals, governments can simply label people as criminals to strip away their rights
The post claims this has been a common tactic of tyrannical governments throughout history
The post concludes that believing people who break laws should forfeit their rights is effectively supporting tyranny

The argument centers on the idea that due process and legal protections for accused/convicted persons are fundamental safeguards against authoritarian government overreach.

Also I hope we're all on this same page EVERYONE needs to be brought out of that El Salvadorian hell hole they were ALL wrongfully deported. I mean it's good to focus on 'And this guy was here legally and not ever a gang member AND they're Venezuelan' but NO ONE should've been sent there

Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free." - For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza. 23 and he knew to leave a death note.
PRESS
hossam_shbat 4h
This is Hossam's team, and we are sharing his final message :
"If you're reading this, it means I have been killed
-most likely targeted-by the Israeli occupation forces. When this all began, I was only 21 years old-a college student with dreams like anyone else. For past 18 months, I have dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horrors in northern Gaza minute by minute, determined to show the world the truth they tried to bury. I slept on pavements, in schools, in tents
-anywhere I could. Each day was a battle for survival. I endured hunger for months, yet I never left my people's side.
By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to report the truth, and now, I am finally at rest-something I haven't known in the past 18 months. I did all this because I believe in the Palestinian cause. I believe this land is ours, and it has been the highest honor of my life to die defending it and serving its people.
I ask you now: do not stop speaking about Gaza.
Do not let the world look away. Keep fighting, keep telling our stories—until Palestine is free."
- For the last time, Hossam Shabat, from northern Gaza.

The men sent to do hard labor in a Salvadoran prison: - A tattoo artist seeking asylum who entered legally. - A teen who got a tattoo in Dallas because he thought it looked cool. - A 26-year-old whose tattoos his wife says are unrelated to a gang. - A barber whose family says he has no gang ties.

Posting tonight ti shine a light on what the Alien Enemies Act looks like IRL. Our @immdef.bsky.social
client fled
Venezuela last year & came to US to seek asylum. He has a strong claim. He was detained upon entry because ICE alleged his tattoos are gang related. They are absolutely not.

Our client worked in the arts in Venezuela.
He is LGBTQ. His tattoos are benign. But ICE submitted photos of his tattoos as evidence he is Tren de Aragua. His @ImmDef attorney planned to present evidence he is not. But never got the chance because our client has been disappeared.Solanyer said an ICE officer told her that her brother was detained because of a tattoo that linked him to
Tren de Aragua, a violent gang with Venezuelan prison origins that has spread through the Americas.
She said the tattoo depicted a rose and that he had gotten it in a tattoo parlor in Dallas.
"He thought it looked cool, looked nice, it didn't have any other significance," she said, stressing that he is not a gang member.Caraballo had multiple tattoos including ones of roses, a clock with this daughter's birth time, a lion and a shaving razor, said his wife.
"I've never seen him without hair, so I haven't recognized him in the photos," she said. "I just suspect he's there because of the tattoos that he has and right now any Venezuelan man with tattoos is assumed to be a gang member", she added, citing also the fact that he has effectively gone missing.
Sanchez said her husband has never been a member of Tren de Aragua.taseenb

People have started identifying some of the 238 Venezuelan migrants deported to Bukele's torture dungeons by the U.S. fascist regime. The brother of one of them posted that his relative is a barber with no criminal record and no links to any criminal organisations.

I feel like I want to just highlight this again. It's something I've been trying to get people to understand for many years now. People love calling this a "mask off" moment. But it's the mask on moment that was actually the anomaly. White supremacy has always been intentional and deliberate.

"it's a distraction" is lazy complacency with an active disregard for the lives of those affected and lives no longer with us. We are yet to witness the true end result of the "Biological Truth" Trojan Horse. The trans community however, was torn apart before the gate even opened.
Jessica Harriet: "Wes Streeting is fighting a war he can't win"

Liberals have long claimed the Transgender genocide is a "distraction" which is not the case, it is a near incomprehensibly destructive vessel with the intended destination of breaking down the gate of collectivism and restoring "Christian values" Under the guise of protecting women and children., it lays bare the depths to which gender can be applied. Anywhere that gender can be applied, patriarchal hierarchy can and will be abused. "Distraction" also implies a lack of consequence important enough to commit to any active action or support, if there were no victims chen che genocidal nature of the Gender Critical Movement would not be a reality chat has molded the foundational way in which trans people are viewed in relation to a "Functioning society."

Though it may not be the case for all who have been manipulated into believing atacking a minority's rights is in any way feminism, the evangelical organisations that funded their formation and success had the intent of cementing core ideas within the institutions. As depressing as it may be to The societal progress in chipping away at the patriarchal hierarchy is seen as a severe threat to those who benefit from it. The protection of bodily autonomy and self-expression is seen as a contradiction to the means by which that benefit is

Everyone should be aware of the line that has been crossed in the Trump trans military EO. No longer is this about "evidence," "science" or "protecting kids." Now, explicitly, black and white, it's about trans people being "liars," "dishonorable," "false." It's a big step towards very bad things.
