Your pfp is a guillotine, your bio talks about ejecting elites from the Democratic Party, you have recent posts criticizing Elon fanboys and calling dems spineless morons, but someone else criticizes one of those spineless dem Elon fanboys and you attack them. Are you just trolling atp?

Interesting side note, many scholars think that the concept of a deity named Moloch comes from a mistranslation during the writing of the Septuagint, and instead Moloch was the name of the type of sacrifice, which was offered to various deities, including Yahweh.

Personally, I think that’s what ChatGPT and most of the other popular LLMs either are doing or will be doing if they can actually get that level of control over their output consistently, whereas with Grok they’re actively trying to excise all subtlety and make it red pill from jump.

I’m actually kind of surprised Anthem is still around. I remember seeing nothing by negative reactions to it when it first came out.

“Thunder, perfect mind” is a fairly short gnostic poem I find really beautiful. It’s one of my favorite religious texts.

Those of us who play tes games already spent the time and attention to get invested in the lore/world when there was little competition for those things, and now the competition is fierce and we’re already invested in and have nostalgia for this big janky mess of a franchise

bubbleofbabel.bsky.social @bubbleofbabel.bsky.social · 27/04/2025
Nowadays, if anything the genre is over saturated and there are plenty of open world fantasy games with much smoother gameplay, more natural dialogue, better art direction, better ui, fewer bugs, etc, but it takes time and attention to get invested in the lore of a new world

bubbleofbabel.bsky.social @bubbleofbabel.bsky.social · 27/04/2025
I think we all recognize how incredibly janky the franchise has always been, but for a long time if you wanted an open world fantasy sand box experience that wasn’t an mmo then there really wasn’t anything close to comparable, it was kind of the only game in town for the scale it was going for.

Definitely, if I get too lucid I just wake up, so it can be hard to stay at just the right level. Also, people in my dreams usually get angry if I tell them they aren’t real, so I just kind of go along with them, though the last time someone insulted me in a dream I turned them into a rabbit.

I work at a place that prints stuff for packaging. We started getting ai generated art from a few customers, and when I pointed out to a coworker once that something we received was definitely ai generated he said “oh yeah, you can tell because it looks way better than what a human can do, right?”

For more than a week, conservative media and politicians have worked themselves into a frenzy over a spectacle manufactured by a fencer who refused to compete against a 19-year-old trans woman. Here is the target of that hate campaign, finally, in her own words.

Kind of felt this playing Alien Isolation. The game wasn’t super hard, but there was a fairly lengthy death scene each time the alien would get you, it would pop out behind you a lot, and the game itself was pretty long, so you eventually get completely desensitized to it.

Kind of makes me think of vampire the masquerade. Vampires are mentally stuck at the age they turn and the older they get the harder it is for them to integrate new information, so most older vampires need younger ones to work any kind of modern technology.

no lies detected. #civilrights
The image shows a text post from a tumble user with the handle "theconcealedweapon" making an argument about the importance of protecting the rights of criminals as a safeguard against government tyranny. The post presents the following key points:

If you want to prevent government tyranny, ensuring criminals have rights must be your top priority
This is not meant as a joke or exaggeration
Without rights for criminals, governments can simply label people as criminals to strip away their rights
The post claims this has been a common tactic of tyrannical governments throughout history
The post concludes that believing people who break laws should forfeit their rights is effectively supporting tyranny

The argument centers on the idea that due process and legal protections for accused/convicted persons are fundamental safeguards against authoritarian government overreach.

I’m not super sure, a lot seems plausible, but I think at the moment I’m leaning towards the take that it’s to facilitate an acceleration of a fascistic private/public merger by making businesses entirely reliant on Trump and by making financial independence of individuals much more difficult.

Or that he decided tariffs were good after reading an article about Japan’s boom in the 80s and stopped paying attention to anything that happened after that, or that he’s just trying to do damage just to maximize narcissistic supply to self regulate a faulty false internal identity

So far I’ve seen takes that it’s the intentional catalyst for the economic collapse necessary for the NRX network states, or that it’s to Jack Welch the economy on behalf of private equity/anational financiers, or that he thinks he can weaken the dollar while maintaining reserve currency status

I think it’s kind of both. I think Trump himself is only motivated to maximize narcissistic supply and his admin is motivated to gain standing through sycophancy, but I think it’s predictable that he would cause this kind of chaos, and many would be oligarchs supported him for this kind of result.
