Software Engineer - Computational Scientist - Scientific Manager. Still coviding. Covid is airborne, wear an N95. We can’t have a healthy society if we take an individualistic approach to public health (and many other things).

I'm glad they did the study. I had to switch doctors to get my long Covid diagnosed. The first one told me "diet and exercise" in response to sudden, extreme fatigue after a Covid infection. Thus it was 1.5 years before I was diagnosed.

@ottawapublichealth.ca there’s an Aranet currently available at OPL. Take this to a variety of indoor spaces for a week and you’ll understand why people are getting flu, covid, and RSV. It’s not because people don’t wash their hands.

WHY CAN’T ANY PUBLIC HEALTH ORG SAY THE WORD MASK??? Mask. MASK. MAAAAAAAAAASSSK!!! 😷
A public health poster at the University of Toronto with an illustration of a doctor holding up a shield to protect himself against a bunch of different viruses moving towards him to attack his respiratory system, that reads:

PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS FROM VIRUSES
• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water.
• Stay home if you feel sick.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
• Cover your mouth and nose with your arm when sneezing or coughing.
• Eat well, rest and stay hydrated.
