This common view reflects belief in a type of Jewish and German exceptionalism: That no people in history have ever been or will be more persecuted than Jews, and no people have ever been or can be more evil than leaders of Nazi Germany. The view is both ahistorical and extraordinarily dangerous.

Unspeakably disgraceful. Doris Miller was a mess attendant -- the only jobs open to Black sailors -- who won the Navy Cross at Pearl Harbor. With this, and reports USN leaders are considering changing the design of aircraft carriers *because Trump said so* -- the Navy is dishonoring itself.

Chuck Schumer: "The founding fathers called America God's noble experiment. I believe in all three words to this day: we are one nation under God, we have clung to noble ideals for longer than any other nation, and we are an experiment always changing, trying to make ourselves better.

Trump literally drove a presidential motorcade through the reflecting pool while it was still being refurbished & before the new liner even dried properly. if you drift a bunch of armored SUVs around inside of a dry pool, it damages the liner. it isn’t difficult to figure out what happened.
A motorcade of black SUVs and a presidential limousine drives along a wide paved route on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., with the Washington Monument rising prominently in the background.

The vehicles travel across the reflecting pool, creating mirrored highlights beneath them.

The JCPOA, which Trump called "the worst deal ever," ONLY lifted nuclear-related sanctions on Iran. Sanctions for human rights violations, terrorism, and its missile program ALL remained. Trump is promising to end ALL SANCTIONS, even those imposed by international bodies. Victory for Iran.
The United States of America undertakes to terminate all types of sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the United Nations Security Council resolutions.

IAEA Board of Governors resolutions, all unilateral US sanctions, primary and secondary in an agreed upon schedule as part of the final deal. The Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America acknowledge the critical importance of the sanctions termination issue above mentioned, and expressed their intentions to immediately address these issues in the negotiations in order to achieve mutual agreement on them.
