@500songspodcast.bsky.social latest bonus episode is on the Bee Gees prior to their 70s era, and it boggles my mind that they had several Top 20 US singles and I maaaaaaaybe recognize one of them, maybe. A run of successful songs that sound nothing like their more famous work. And didn't stick.

I see Todd Rundgren has pulled the classic move of past-prime artists of deriding (sexiestly!) modern music. Instead of hearing what he thinks now I'd rather just remember about how he produced an album I love, and how he developed a popular Mac OS screensaver in the 90s.

First I used was a terminal on some kind of mainframe at the community college. After that, experienced Apple IIs and TRS 80s in various settings (some of them undoubtedly retail displays or school and at least one at friends' house) but the first one I owned was an Atari 800.

I will also add that I think it takes tremendous bravery to be trans, and that living your best life is a net positive for the world, and the best comics are about being the best you you can be. So of course I would love trans people, like I love my favorite superheroes.

Great summary of Wilson's review, by herself. I liked the movie quite a bit more than she did, but her criticisms helped me clarify why I was not quite as high on the movie as a lot of other people. I'll add to that criticism, Nolan wacks the audience on the head with the themes. No subtlety.
