house of leaves is a 2000 novel by mark z. danielewski. it's about johnny truant, a tattoo shop apprentice who finds the disheveled remains of a complex manuscript one night. the manuscript contains an amateurish critical dissertation, written by a recently deceased old man allegedly named zampanò; on tbe topic of a film called the navidson record, made by photographer will navidson. although zampanò's trxt tefers elaborately and lovingly to existing literature, johnny soon finds out that the vast majority of zampanò's cited sources do not actually exist. neither, for that matter, does the film. on top of that, zampanò was totally blind.

at gas station I don't think I can properly convey how bedazzled this car is. This is not paint, these are tiny stones, rocks, pieces of tile, etc. We ended up next to the person driving I and yelled over to their lane that their car is amazing, turns out they did all the with themselves, to 3 yrs
