I’ve been on this train for a minute now but I truly think the only way to prevent another Trump from happening is to destroy the right wing information ecosystem. They have built a monster from the ground up through talk radio, Fox News, and now X and far-right influencers. It needs to burn

RFK Jr was my top for impeachment, but it’s a close call. He’s damaging the health of the entire nation. Hegseth is weakening our military & damaging our national security. Vought is damaging our all gov’t structures. I know the won’t end up removed by the Senate, but let’s fight chaos with chaos.

There are a lot of Trump officials who need to be impeached, but Russell Vought -- the quarterback of all the Project 2025 fuckery and a central player in the administration's overreach -- really needs to be at the top of the list.

The New York Times has a choice of whether to cover Trumpism as A) an amusing and colorful example of the oddity of American politics, or B) an existential threat to the future of everyone you know and love. Over and over, they choose A. They trivialize themselves.

Massively important story. We’ll see how this goes, but Talarico isn’t within striking range because of some kind of heterodox move to the right. He’s making a strong, clear case for ideas that work better than plainly horrific Republican ones.

In other states, habeas cases can last weeks, but in Louisiana, they can often take many months. Those delays mean some immigrants never see relief. Some get deported before a judge can rule, and others have died in ICE custody waiting for a ruling.

Louisiana has more ICE lockups than almost any other state. Now as a surge in habeas petitions overloads courts, people are held “unfathomably” long without recourse.

Never* forget
Ari Fleischer: 9/10/18 • As 1 do every year, tomorrow I will live-tweet my memories of what happened seventeen years ago, on September 11,
2001. I hope everyone will remember and say a prayer for those who were killed and for their families. Time passes by, but what took place must never be forgotten.PRWeek
NEW YORK: The LIV Golf Invitational Series has hired Fleischer Communications as a communications consultant.
The agency started work in February and is assisting on everything under "the comms consulting umbrella," said Ari Fleischer, former White House press secretary and president at Fleischer Communications.
Fleischer said that "almost all" of his work is on a retainer-basis but declined to get into the length of specific contracts.Wikipedia: LIV Golf (/lIv/) is a professional golf tour financed by the Public Investment Fund, the sovereign wealth fund of Saudi Arabia.
The name LIV is a reference to the Roman numeral for 54, the score if every hole on a par-72 course were birdied and the number of holes to be played at LIV events. [1] The first LIV Golf Invitational Series event started on 9 June 2022, at the Centurion Club near London, England.
The Invitational Series is to become the
LIV Golf League in 2023.Ari Fleischer:
In all cases, I have decided that my story has been told and I will not live tweet what took place on 9/11 again. In truth, it is exhausting to relive the day. It wears me down to go through it, even though I am not the one who has suffered the most.

Any Vietnam War Historians available to look at this image? It’s a magazine clipping attributed to someone and I wanted to learn more about it. The original clipping has been lost, but is at least 20 years old.
A magazine clipping of a black and white photograph, showing what appears to be a radio operator. He looks at the camera with sadness or resignation. He has a watch on his left wrist and his hair is closely shaved. There is a pot of some kind behind him on the left. Beyond that is some kind of backpack. Other men sit behind, facing away from the camera, mostly in shadow.
