If you think something is harmful, the harmful does not stop when it's ubiquitous. It just means the harm is vast and widespread. I fundamentally do not care how useful you think it is.

Nihar Shah did a heroic experiment for TMLR: he spent 20-25 hours over two weeks interviewing authors of seemingly low-quality submissions about their own papers. He confirmed what we all suspected: people submitting these papers have *no idea* what is going on in them.

For us, AI has always been the “You made this? I made this.” meme and it’s damned near impossible to chisel off the googly eyes long enough to see if there’s anything worth using because the googly eyes are part of it and always grow back Also it’s 3am and this analogy might’ve gotten away from me.

May I remind everyone that there is currently NO cure for rabies. May I also remind everyone there is absolutely NO scientific proof connecting ANY vaccine that we produce today with autism. This is true regarding vaccination in both humans AND in dogs. Vaccinate your pets please.
Worries about vaccination rates in dogs
As rabies seems to be spreading more in wildlife, veterinarians are especially worried about vaccine hesitancy spreading among pet owners, a dangerous trend that could lead to more dogs - and their owners
- becoming infected. A 2023 study published in the journal Vaccine found in nationally representative
sample of Americans that nearly 40% believed canine vaccines were unsafe and 37% believed that vaccines could lead their dogs to develop cognitive issues, such as autism.

The government concede power to the police, who say that it's a matter for government. Both agree that it is very much a thing which needs addressing, but presumably not by them, as they are merely passive onlookers bearing witness to an escalatory spiral of vigilante violence of unknown provenance.

google's "why don't you want to use our documentation chatbot" survey offers a pretty good list of reasons not to use their documentation chatbot
popup asking Would you like to use an AI chatbot to help you while browsing this site? Yes / No, with No highlightedpopup survey with all checkboxes checked

What's the main reason you prefer to read the documentation yourself instead of using an Al chatbot?

I want to read the full context of an article to ensure I don't miss any important details.

I find standard documentation design (tables, diagrams) easier to scan than a chat interface.

I enjoy the learning process of researching and discovering solutions manually.

I have strong concerns about the accuracy or reliability of Al-generated answers.

Last input is for "Other" and the text inputs reads "I hate ai"

This includes its aggressive suppression of psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, raw milk, hyperbaric therapies, chelating compounds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, clean foods, sunshine, exercise, nutraceuticals and anything else that advances human health and can't be patented by Pharma.
