I have SO many fond memories of the drive-in in my hometown! But my favorite is visiting home during college and seeing Toy Story 3 for the first time, just me and my youngest brother. We went to the grocery store first and I bought him unlimited snacks, then we watched the movie under the stars.

This thread is a wild ride. I probably would have found it unbelievable 6 years ago, but something very similar happened to me in 2021. On the way home from a friend's wedding, we were stuck in Mexico an extra night, loaded onto busses with no information. It is so scary and surreal.

I'm glad I read about this! My state will have a constitutional amendment on the ballot allowing the state to set limits on prop tax increases. Sounds good, right? Analysis shows the savings will be tiny for individual homeowners but would give multi million $ breaks to large corporations. 🤬

The main reasons I studied computer science were to learn to think and how things worked, before I could use something someone else made. If the focus for students is to enthusiastically use any technology, the moment it is not relevant anymore, they're lost. #1 is biased training, not teaching.
