the problem with games is that a lot of people still try to market it as technology and that only worked when it was new technology. It's mature enough now that "check out this amazing feature" no longer matters. Games-as-tech makes it easier to market a game based on lists of things in said game.

the ddos machine and internet are both hitting cloudflare, but cloudflare is only letting good (well, "good") traffic through. the linode is behind a cloud firewall that prevents it from being seen by random scanners, so that the ddos dipshit cannot find it to start attacking it directly.

This is all really stupid

This DDoS seems to have been triggered by someone using Claude Code and getting banned from the site for it, intentionally evading that ban to make up a fake story about their LLM wiping their entire OS, and then firing off multiple abuse reports to our host.

It may not surprise you that this guy has some interesting thoughts on consent, or that he has multiple blog posts in which he brags about poisoning LLMs to win championships or flooding a social network with spam to give himself 1,000,000 followers.

This was utterly fantastic! Very sad to have finished it. Lots to love, but what really impressed me was the incredible density and intricacy of the level and puzzle design. Nothing is superfluous, every screen is packed with secrets to explore.
