The Facial Expressions of Tethys by artist Julius von Bismarck. A suspended high-sea buoy that moves in real time. Sensors on a twin buoy out in the Atlantic Ocean send live satellite data to motors inside the museum. This makes the indoor buoy copy the exact, real-time movements of the ocean waves.

i definitely still use notepad (the good dumb windows 10 version), just like i still use ms paint. it's the quickest tool for very simple editing/notetaking

conclusion to GMTK: another sylvie banger. highlights for me: - the game structure in general. love it - "Grabing" and "Next a Spin" are now part of my vocabulary - the unapologetic rawness of the game mechanics - getting to see under the hood (both of the engine, and the game developer)

this is such a fun little horror moment in metroid 2. absolutely perfect use of the gameboy's memory limits: you want to get some space between you and the surprise metroid, but the hole you shot to get here has already filled with sand again. you're trapped.
