Any time you have an unlicensed person selling you food, your recourse against them can't be pursued the way you can a grocer because they're not regulated. They can't be put out of business. Same goes for using a massage license to sell wellness cancer cures that use exercise, soup, and vegetables

One of the most harrowing things about academia, when you're a grad student, is how vulnerable you are to how you're perceived by more senior researchers. Your career advancement depends on confidential letters of reference & private discussions amongst faculty. You have no information or control.

Perlmutter has been kept in office thus far by a D.C. Circuit injunction pending appeal. The complication here is that the Copyright Office is under the Library of Congress, and there are disputes about what that means and what powers Trump has regarding appointing an "Acting Librarian."

They're likely to offer to increase the number of military scholarships at normal institutions like LSU and Tuskegee. Most ROTC leaders will welcome that because it means they can be more selective. Hillsdale has never had ROTC. Who knows how that'll turn out. Liberty has all the ROTCs. O_o
