Interrogating "men don't talk to each other" through a game about communication

I've finished both of my "Summer Project" games, and am now at an impasse. I don't know what I want to play now. I have options, an actual written backlog I want to tackle, but nothing speaks to me right now. And so I'm just kind of "floating", waiting on something to strike. This summer, my big project games were Final Fantasy VII, and Doom: The Dark Ages, and as of yesterday, they're both completed.

Last day, all over but the crying now. And I'm kind of sad to see Blaugust end. It's been fun, seeing new people come in, people whose work I hadn't kept up with, and even though the Discord isn't going anywhere, it still fees like we're all about to go out separate ways for the next eleven months. Like, we were all pointed towards a single goal, and now that it's at its end, now the whole group disperses back into the Aether until Blaugust begins again next year.

It's the next-to-last day of Blaugust, and I suppose I should talk about what I learned this go-round with it. That I should talk about what things started to become clear to me as the month went on. It really feels like this month blew by, didn't it? Either way, some things did stick out, at least for me. The biggest thing, by far was that I can in fact, still write, that I have not totally lost my fastball yet.
