I think I'm at a point I am happy with on my character sculpt. I was going to move on to retopo, but I feel like I need to hold back and do some more practice. Specifically I want to gain some drawing skill so I can create my own model sheets and design my own characters.

Oh man, I have been sculpting for so long today my arm hurts. Definitely not accustomed to heavy drawing tablet use. I think its going pretty well, I have the lower body pretty much at a point I am happy with. I think the upper body will be much more challenging.

Phew getting everything set up for sculpting took longer than I expected. I think I have the tools dialed in to a comfortable level for my tablet. I took a few practice swings at the sculpt, using the tools wasn't the hard part, getting anatomy looking ok is really tough. I'll start fresh tomorrow.

OK I'm going to lock in, I'm going to try modelling a character from scratch. I found a model sheet from an artist I like. I'm locking in for real now. I won't stop partway through and give up. No more faffing about gang.
