I blasted my main drive on my PC, and replaced Debian Testing & Gnome, with MX Linux & XFCE. Now I'm on Debian stable, and feel a bit better about security updates. Also MX Linux is so incredibly well setup out of the box. It is among the most "complete" distros I've ever used. One of my top 5

Games like Yoshi's Woolie World, Paper Mario Colour Splash, Pushmo, and Devil's Third (lol) get ignored. Kirby & The Rainbow Curse, and Affordable Space Adventures get ignored because of their control schemes but I still think they deserve an attempted escape from WiiU.

When people say "nearly the entire WiiU library was ported to Switch, where is X game!" What they mean is, Mario 3D World, Mariokart 8, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, and Xenoblade X. Maybe Hyrule Warriors too. That's it that's all they mean. And these people are fans of the WiiU

Well OpenBSD doesn't have any support for ext4 filesystems. Among others I think. That really kills any chance I'm gonna use it. Because I need ext4 to copy parts of my file system out of Linux. Maybe I will try FreeBSD again, soon. I am still excited to learn Xmonad though

I installed OpenBSD on my system as a second OS beside Debian. Unfortunately I'm having issues getting XMonad to launch. It's either a deeper issue, or I didn't add it to my path correctly. I successfully launched Awesome, but I'm not sure I want to use that. Still a long way to go for this one

Lake Ontario matches the name of a Province, so why Lake America? I suspect because the State it touches is New York (similar to Lake Michigan), Trump doesn't wanna call it Lake New York since everyone associates 'New York' with the mayor right now. If it was atleast a State I might accept it lol

McDonalds and FedEx use the same hiring application system. And it's this shitty ChatBot format where you send or select answers to questions in a chat window. And then get sent to a separate site to enter more form info. McD's also makes you enter job history manually & wont accept a resume at all

I finally sold my GPU. Last summer I sold my Switch and Xbox SX. I tried to sell my GPU early this year, but didn't get a sale & pulled back. Finally reposted it and sold my Arc A750 for $250 CAD (good deal). I'm down to just an i5-12400 CPU, integrated graphics.

Debian & the kernel's milktoast stance on AI has be looking at alternative OS's. Namely OpenBSD, NetBSD, & Haiku. I might still use Linux a bit. Only thing I need Linux for is gaming & I barely game anymore. It's not about dodging AI so much as it's about gaining confidence that I have a choice
