i dont usually like bring up beloved evil wizard books for children bc we got better books to read/better authors to support, but in that same vein, we also got better things to draw than hopping on weird art trend that supports beloved evil wizard books for children

we will not implement assets generated by ai into our games, we will only implement assets generated by ai into our games

"We will not implement assets generated by AI into our games." Capcom said in a March 2026 shareholders meeting. "However, we plan to proactively use it as a contributing technology to improve the efficiency and productivity of the game development process. To this end, we are currently exploring ways to implement it in various areas, including graphics, sound and programming."

honestly im glad they're patching this bc these sections often come up as a big reason why some players have dropped the game. it's a shame bc i do think townfall is worth finishing for its story, so hopefully this helps the situation

belmont's curse demo was short, but pretty much covers what you can expect on full release. it plays like a mix of Ecclesia's traversal mechanics + CoTM's card-based ability system. it also feels close to Ecclesia's difficulty imo :) can't wait to see what the full game is like in a couple of weeks

i finished townfall today. despite my issues with the gameplay, i think the story still makes playing worth it. i've seen ppl critique the story for lacking subtlety, but IMO, its message abt what selfishness does to communities should not be complicated by a lot of symbolism, even for a SH game 🙂

after playing a bit more, im beginning to question if im just bad at it or the way townfall handles stealth isn't very good. i get focusing on tension, but i feel like combat shouldn't feel like extreme punishment in the event of a mistake, but rather still be a viable way to progress despite it
