“If we’ve got $368 billion for AUKUS, we can fund the services that save women’s lives. Fully funded frontline and prevention services are the floor, not the ceiling.” #Auspol

Here in Australia and right around the world, we are in the grip of an epidemic
of men's violence. Frontline services and advocates have handed this
government a roadmap to end it. Labor refuses to fund it. Saying you care about women's lives and then refusing to fund the solutions is so utterly bloody
wrong. If we've got $368 billion for AUKUS, we can fund the
services that save women's lives. And to men: speak up. In the clubrooms, at the pub, on our streets. Demand better from our mates, our team, our colleagues. Be the allies, the partners, uncles, brothers, sons and dads that the women in our lives
deserve. Then together let's make this government fully fund
frontline and prevention services.
That's the floor, not the ceiling.

The elephant in room is the handing over of the Immigration minister’s sole decision making ‘god power’ to Jillian Segal. This ‘god power’ has now been extended beyond immigration to every government, dept, institution, MP, citizen of Australia. Deciding what can be said, who comes in, who goes.
