31 years of the most important song I ever heard. Honourable mentions to pretty much anything from Dookie, but it was this song that ultimately proved my gateway drug for metal (despite it being about as metal as a cloud). As such, still my favourite song of all time, from my favourite band.

I don’t share the same sentiment in regards City players as most seem to. Any player signing for City after the Der Spiegel leaks was taking a chance that their medals would ultimately be worthless. They are suffering because they were greedy.

I had a similar (though nowhere near as bad) experience with Virgin in Atlanta this week. It was a connection en route from San Antonio to Manchester, made in very comfortable time and boarded on schedule.

Wools. As with many places in Europe, these atmospheres are coordinated community sing alongs. They have nothing to do with the football and as such they lack any of the raw fury you get in stadiums where the support is reactionary rather than staged.
