Genuinely extraordinary - if you’re a #DoctorWho fan (and even if you’re not): a candid glimpse into a full life, well-lived; a sixties icon telling magnificent stories about Polly and Ben, Polly and Dad, Bill ‘n’ Pat, secrets spilled and insights aplenty. Magnificent.
![And Jackie Lane? She played [departing companion] Dodo. You and Michael overlapped with her briefly, as she was being written out. Do you remember much about Jackie?
"I met her, but only fleetingly. Um, now, wait a minute. Who was the one who smoked dope? Was that Jackie? Yes, we talked about growing grass."
Did she have any advice?
"About grass?”
About Doctor Who.
"Oh, no. If she'd been able to time-travel, she could have said, 'One day, you'll be dumped from Doctor Who just like I've been.' (Laughs) But she didn't."→](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:h7egmzufdglhsrmlwp5pteg6/bafkreifnj3sapgbm6wr7cynneaaqpvlc2uf745y4h7g3rdf2ktf4jbyaiy)
