Went to the opening night London Film Festival archival showing of the reconstruction/restoration of Powell & Pressburger’s “Gone to Earth” last night. A fantastic 2nd tier P&P film. Reconstructed version newly minted and rarely seen. Mixing gothic melodrama and folkish mysticism. Beautifully shot.

Might be “old,” but honestly, can’t recommend this book enough, especially if you’re into 60s design, title sequences and promo stuff. Superbly researched, and a real feast for the eyes.
