If you didn’t get or like Resident Evil, that’s on you. That was a movie so good that my husband and I paid to see it in theaters twice. Treating Resident Evil as a borderline horror comedy is the best way to approach a franchise with a plot as bonkers as Resident Evil’s has been over the decades.
