The end of something special as Graham Alexander leaves Bradford City
He gave City back its pride, purpose and identity, which is why Graham Alexander’s departure hurts so much.

I did predict that we were going to go up and reach the League Cup final after we beat Burton in the Third Round in 2012. Sadly now lost as my Twitter account is long gone.

I also predicted we'd swap managers and get Hecky and Stuart in as a replacement - not sure if I can fully claim Nostradamus status yet.

Congratulations! I did this with my first and am currently doing the same with my second. It's mostly brilliant, especially if they nap well.

That second half display - particularly after Powell came on - was outstanding. Lots of fringe players pushing for a start now. Humphrys had his best game for us, Powell was magnificent, Lapslie ran and ran and ran. Difficult to pick an 18 for the weekend without being harsh to a few people #bcafc

I think they've given us over 1 xG for the sequence that led to the equaliser, which shouldn't happen, but Beesley missed some pretty good chances in the first half and if he scores one I think we cruise it.

Massively self-inflicted defeat. We were in control twice and just gifted them two goals. Gillesphey had spent the entire game underhitting passes to them, so no wonder he was responsible for the first goal. Slow, sloppy and complacent throughout the team. #bcafc

Absolutely superb. McCracken magnificent, defence solid, brilliant effort from everyone. Well deserved. #bcafc

Looked like we might get overwhelmed first half but in the second we were magnificent. Could pick any of the back three or wingbacks for player of the match and the front line ran themselves into the ground. Statement win. #bcafc

Comfortable win again. Better performance than last week and the team is starting to click. Connolly my pick for player of the match but lots of 7.5/10 performances that it could've gone to. #bcafc

This example has Joe Cole in the midfield three when I remember Mourinho using him as a wide forward and putting Tiago deeper in midfield.

Awkward moment in the Brazilian top flight: Coritiba player falls into a tunnel celebrating against Chapecoense, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside

Pretty comfortable if unspectacular. Kept them at arm's length and looked good defensively, and Connolly looked impressive in midfield - always in the right position. Lots to improve on though, especially going forward #bcafc

Southgate in the Italy game brought Saka on for Trippier when they equalised. He at least tried to get them to attack again. Tuchel didn't even try.

Turned on just in time for the Bosnia goal. A multi-ethnic country riven by internal division and with an impenetrable linguistic divide, Canada is a country in North America.

I mean they knew that we attacked by playing diagonal balls to the wing backs which means they either watched us train or watched any game we've played this season. #bcafc

Gutted. It's been a really good season but we've run out of steam towards the end, particularly in attack. Got a good defensive foundation for next season - if we get the attacking recruitment right (unlike January) we can push again next season #bcafc

Got to be much better than that, especially on the ball. Tilt in particular having a horror show but very few of them have been good. The only positive is that we're still in it and Bolton may regret not pressing it further while we've been off our game. #bcafc

The constituency has been Tory quite a lot before but those votes came from Baildon, Wharfedale and the villages around Bingley really. Shipley ward has consistently been left wing.

Greens have been winning here at council level as long as I can remember. The only time they didn't was 2018 when a fairly left wing Labour candidate won.

Even when Davies was getting fairly big majorities in Shipley constituency, Shipley ward was voting Green. It's the other bits of the constituency that voted Tory and are now threatening to vote Reform.

This is one of my favourites, because I saw Robbie Threlfall play as a fairly average left back for Bradford City for a couple of years and yet he was being tipped for England here.
