The data show that Somerville and Cambridge increased bike ridership while reducing crashes involving bikes. Boston reversed it's progress on this front in 2025.

Clover Food Lab will close all 10 Boston-area locations (half in #CambMA Cambridge) this Thursday, May 28. On March 30 they filed a WARN Act notice indicating that all 170 employees would be let go on May 29 if the restaurant chain could not find a buyer.

To make building housing more palatable, Somerville allows new units near transit to be ineligible for street parking. Affordable units are always eligible; how much of an impact is this? Of 90 affordable units in the 450-unit Union Sq tower, only 7 have permits.

In the #CambMA municipal election, voters came out stronger for the School Committee vote than in prior years. Typically turnout is only 90-92% of the Cambridge City Council turnout. This year it was 98%. Did the SC vote end up influencing the CC result? A data anomaly suggests it's possible:
