Still so little information from the Albanese Government over what data they are planning to hand over to Trump. Every level of this Government is just addicted to secrecy. This agreement will cover our information, surely the public should know about negotiations.

America has a fascination with names. After all, they traveled through the desert on a horse with no name. At least that one was set free and not given a silly title.

My doom scrolling this morning included an idiot bitching about maritime search and rescue and how we waste money doing so. I have always Known that Australia covers a large area. For those in "peril upon the sea" the area is massive, 53 million square kilometres (one tenth of the Earth’s surface).

'Exciting' signs of survival as quolls and bandicoots reintroduced to outback
Once locally extinct across outback NSW, bilbies, bandicoots and bettongs are now back and breeding. The desert's revival has been led by a young couple who moved their lives way out west a decade ago.

Really am tired of explaining the history of census records in this country. So many idiots who think it is a govt plot. You even got fined in the early census for not participating. So have a hunt see if you have an ancestor who was in one of the early recorded ones.

The findings in two US court cases should embarrass anyone who claimed Australia’s social media ban was ‘boomer’ moralising A disdain towards the notion of “consequence” somewhat defines the contemporary western moment of the powerful. So two recent US court decisions that are adverse to the interests of – oh my god, would you believe it? – tech companies should be heralded to the full height of every sky. Within days of each other this week, a court in New Mexico and another in Los Angeles determined that social media platforms were legally responsible for harms caused to users. Continue reading...
