i had a super thorough eye exam to figure out if i’m a candidate for vision therapy (i am!) and also sorted out a much better contact lens rx as well as determining my glasses frames are fucked up oh and also when i think my head is straight it’s actually tilted slightly right, so that’s weird

i started sorting out my mail-in ballot for the municipal election a lot of names to sort through, but at least some candidates are easy to cross off (e.g. those who don’t even live here, queerphobic “parents rights”, more cops, etc)

i bought a vintage dress that was a little too big for me, and a little shapeless, but i loved the floral-pattern burgundy velvet now i have taken it in along the side and back seams, added underbust darts, and added pockets! i just need to finish up the new seams inside 🥰

in hindsight … what the fuck was the point of that video call with my surgeon, actually? i learned a few details of the surgical technique and one limit on healing afterwards, but nothing was materially changed, that could have been an in-person exam to prep for the surgery
