Pro tip for everyone else who, like me, has been diagnosed with Clinical Swiss Cheese Brain: I’m out, so I just set a reminder in my phone for when I will be home, where my envelopes and stamps are. No matter how hard I want to, I will not “just remember to do it later.” Set the reminder.

On fascism and racism, Langston Hughes said, "Fascism preaches the creed of Nordic supremacy." He also noted, "Fascism is a new name for that kind of terror the Negro has always faced in America... This kind of terrorism is extending more and more to groups of peoples whose skins are not black."

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

Twitter is owned by a neo-Nazi, the LA Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal are owned by pro-Trump billionaires, and CBS News will soon be run by a far-right Likud extremist. American media still has a liberal bias problem.

When people say "We used to drink raw milk from our own cow and it was fine," That's... usually not the case! In families w their own cow, the mom usually boiled it before using. We just forgot bc that's a boring chore that mom did. And who pays attention to that? youtu.be/vKDPast9WFk

The reason cults usually eschew doctors and any sort of traditional education is because doctors and education allow followers to think there is a source of truth beyond the cult leader, and cults can't have that.

Every time your electricity bill goes up for the next 10 years, it can be traced back to this Administration’s actions. They are making solar and wind power illegal to build in the United States. They are artificially restricting supply while demand is going up.

Let’s be clear: Pritzker isn’t a savor, he’s not “the leader of the resistance.” There won’t be one. That’s us. He’s an elected doing his job when most aren’t, and doing it well. He’s not a leftist, he’s a liberal, but he’s putting himself on the line, and that’s worth a lot.

This sucks & also it was p much never going to end any other way. Not every act of noncompliance ends with systemic victory. The VAST majority don't. Noncompliance gums up the system, builds civic muscle, shifts opinion. This gave us two weeks of national attention on redistricting. That's huge!

I think this is the right move. The thing about bipartisan compromise is that if the person exercising the powers of the presidency just laughs and doesn’t do the stuff you bought with your vote and the GOP Congress yanks it after the fact on his order, bipartisanship means nothing.

Also worth noting: They’re killing the media industry *first*. Techbros have been very clear that their goal is to put as many people out of work as possible. This is nothing more or less than an attack by the 1% upon the rest of us that, if left unchecked, will crash the global economy.

Hi! Epidemiologist here!
Don't do this.
In the 80s and 90s this was done by Depts. of Health during the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
"Somehow" the lists they created found their way into the hands of cops, landlords, & job sites to deny people human rights.
It's partly WHY the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act exists
