oh yeah thor might have been a bad choice for an example, I was thinking of actual-deity thor and not mcu thor, just picked a random god name mcu thor is more like 'they are reinterpreting myth in a way that suggests people who believed in this were honestly mistaken but of course it's not a god'

but if thor shows up unpredictably, is never seen by more than one person at a time, just appears for three seconds to smite something and give you a thumbs-up then disappears, that's a really different thing most settings where they talk about it being different are the former, not the latter

it isn't always the case, but when people refer to this, usually they mean that they appear in a way that is provably and irrefutably true like, if thor shows up once a week to hang out, every week, and lets you take selfies with him, at some point you gotta recognize that he's there

Hi all,
Another month with setbacks and difficulties making ends meet. Our income last month was not as good as we'd hoped it would be. BG and I have also recently been pretty badly sick, so that we've both been unable to work for over a week, which means we're going to come up short for this month, too.
In addition, we've been approved for EBT, but the EBT card has been surprisingly late in arriving, leading to us also coming up somewhat short on food bills.
I'd love to raise at least $800 to make sure our rent is covered in the next couple weeks.

Last year we helped @distributeaid.org by raising over $15,000 for their HRT supply kit project. These funds paid for hundreds of years worth of HRT supplies that covered enormous parts of the country and we wanna do it again, focused this time on some of our most vulnerable comrades.

i think mechanically, planeswalkers are another instance of the same problem; by adding another facet to the battlefield, you alter incentives and planning in a significant way if your game is designed from the ground up for multi-faceted battlefields, then awesome, but magic isn't

if it were me, no. the player is the planeswalker. not sure what battles means in this context, is that the 'fight' mechanic where creatures each deal their power in damage to each other? if so i am largely neutral on that, it's fine either way.
