Danny Tommo has been filmed slashing a dinghy in the channel containing migrants and a rescue worker on board. There is no mention of this on the BBC news website at all as far as I can see. Yet when he and his thugs turn up in masks it's all "Legitimate protestors show ankle in Dover".

With two crypto billionaires donating £72m to Farage’s party in one day, there’s a good reason that for months Byline Times has featured ‘Crypto Politics’ as one of its major themes
bylinetimes.com
Crypto Politics
Crypto Politics Dark money flowing into British and American political parties from donors whose interests shape policy on tax, regulation, and public services. Political fixers operating between oligarch funders and party leadership — in the Conservatives and Labour alike. The revolving door between government, lobbying firms, and the industries they once regulated. Foreign interference channelled […]

Can't be the first to say this, but (and yay UEFA - brilliant) this works equally well if you swap out "football" for maybe "water" or "a stable climate". Look at me being the revolutionary socialist. "No one has the moral authority to sell what they merely hold in trust for the next generation."
The moment external investors acquire ownership interests in
FIFA competitions, football changes forever. Commercial return becomes a permanent obligation. Investor expectations become a daily pressure. From that moment onwards, every decision on the international calendar, every decision on competition formats and every decision shaping the future of football is no longer driven by what best serves the game, but by what best serves shareholders.
This model has no place in world football. Football's future cannot be dictated by the expectations of those whose first duty is to maximise financial return. Nor can the interests of national associations, leagues, clubs, players and supporters become subordinate to investor returns. Football cannot mortgage its future for financial gain.
Europe's position is clear. We will never lend this model our legitimacy. No one has the moral authority to sell what they merely hold in trust for the next generation.

Screenshot from the linked article, with the following text highlighted

"The noble Lord had stated, that it was unusual to refuse the Chiltern Hundreds, except on account of mental incapacity, or where proceedings were pending for the expulsion of the applicants from their seats. In this case, however, the House had decided that compromises had been entered into, which had the effect of obstructing the investigation of bribery; "
