Das ist mal eine sinnvolle Cybersicherheit-Reform. Die dänische Regierung plant, dass ihre Bürger*innen ein Copyright auf die eigene Stimme, das Gesicht & den Körper bekommen. Im Falle von Deepfakes kann dieser Rechtsanspruch dann auch gegen die digitalen Plattformen geltend gemacht werden.

I used to do some work on the ethical use of satellite and drone imagery for aid and disaster response, and it is genuinely hard to express in words what a dangerous, stupid thing Google is doing by making it easy to use GenAI to create faked satellite imagery:

#ErichVonDäniken passed away. evd.ch/rip/index.html Admitting, his were among the books that piqued my interest in archaeology. Later actually studying the past of course revealed the problematic angles of these narratives. Still giving him credit for sparking curiosity.

On the Dachstein glacier in Austrian alps, archaeology of my generation’s childhood begins. As the ice melts, remnants of a 1970s ski lift station re-emerge. No word on whether it was documented before it has been dismantled and removed. (behind pay wall)

Warum das Bundesamt für Fremdenwesen und Asyl bei dem vollkommen unverhältnismässigem Polizeieinsatz am Peršmanhof dabei war? Unter dem Vorwand, unrechtmäßig aufhältige Fremde zu suchen können Behörden jederzeit Grundstücke, Räume, Betriebsstätten und Arbeitsstellen sowie Fahrzeuge betreten.
