Greetings, Katharine. Your efforts to combat climate change are truly commendable. But you have been misled as to the cause of Global Warming. Modern cosmology is wrong about galaxy evolution; and their error places Mankind in great peril.
Unlike the Big Bang theory, what I am about to tell you is actually supported by visual evidence.
Our Sun, like all the other stars in the Milky Way, has not been orbiting the galactic center for 5 billion years, as we have been led to believe. Instead, our Sun formed on the outer edge of the Milky Way; and, like all the stars in all the spiral galaxies, has spent its existence spiraling INTO the galactic center. Every spiral galaxy clearly shows this motion.

This implies that the centers of galaxies are eternal; therefore there was no Big Bang, and the Universe is not expanding.
Matter continuously forms on the outer edges of all spiral galaxies, and matter is continually recycled in the fiery galactic centers. This is why all the Milky Way stars travel at the same speed, not because of Dark Matter.
Since the centers eject matter, by definition they cannot be black holes.
Most importantly, this implies that Global Warming is not anthropogenic, it's a direct result of increasing proximity to the center of the Milky Way. We don't have another 5 billion years left - we are at the end of the galactic ride.
At 220 km/sec, or 491,832 mph, we travel 11.8 million miles closer to our extinction every day; and the whole world is blissfully unaware. This equates to 1.08 billion miles closer each season.

Global Warming is going to increase exponentially, as the polar ice caps shrivel and vanish.
Sea levels rising isn't the threat we face. The entire ocean is rising up. Once the polar ice caps vanish, so will all life on Earth.
So you see, there is very little we can do to prevent further warming of the planet. We are ignorant spectators in a cosmic dance that nobody is even aware of.
Believe what you want to believe, and do what you want to do. But my theory explains everything that the Standard Model of Cosmology cannot, and it's supported by visual evidence. One hundred years of science trying to prove Einstein correct may cost Mankind its very existence.
Record flooding around the globe indicates that our time is running short.
