1/ A court ruling this week allowed the federal Medicaid work requirement to proceed for now. That doesn’t change the fact that the Administration can take steps to prevent some people, including those with serious illnesses, from losing coverage under this harmful policy.

Note that this is *on top of* previous CMS deferrals of federal #Medicaid $ targeting these two states. Medicaid is the largest source of federal funding for states (63% in CA and 54% in MN) according to NASBO state budget data.
