I thinking .... The printer isn't plugged together let alone plugged in.... I have lights on a timer... technically there is a "smart" house alarm but I was fairly careful with selection.. and my laptop, also not online or plugged in except when needed...... I don't even have wifi...

I grew up on the water, far enough away from a lifeboat station that if people needed help the best bet was to call the yacht club or the fishing fleet. Inshore, they would scramble whoever they could get to go and get the folks. You just don't let people drown. We have our own RNLI station now.

This, so much this. And not just true in the UK though the specifics of the local laws will change. This is, in general, globally followed. The sea kills indiscriminately. Our only recourse is to rescue the same way.

What on earth is happening?

This had become the new normal. RNLI crew members had been forced to take their permits off their cars after their tyres have been repeatedly slashed. Most of them have been pilloried at the school gates or turned away from local pubs. One man who worked in search and rescue had been beaten unconscious and hospitalised, recognised for TV interviews he had done.

Help #cosplayers and #dragqueens, etc. I have short grey hair. I love my hair, but I'd like to occasionally have pink hair, red hair, or long hair. But i have a very big head, and the hair over my ears always shows. How do I fix this? I've tried wigs off amazon, etc, and I think they're too small?

I keep reading about how people don't have friends, how friendless people become hatefilled trolls. But ...IMHO the simplest way to find friends is to go out into the world (IRL or online) and be KIND. The more KIND you are the more people want to be around you and you find friends and allies.
