Hot take: I don't think social media made people dumber. We've been dumb this whole time. It's just that you used to have to have a job that people sent their dumb letters to, to notice. This made "Engaging with fools" an occupational hazard rather than the 24/7 experience it is presently.

These two companies lack of investment, their failure to build a single reservoir does not sound like investment does it lain? In the 35 years leading up to privatisation (1954 to 1989), almost 100 drinking water reservoirs were built across the uk, not a single one has been built since!

This is why I've always disagreed with the idea that "art" is purely subjectively defined. Art is a communication. The listener/viewer completes that communication in recieving it, but it is the intentionality of the creator that makes it art. "AI music" is no more music than traffic noise is.
