Talk of re-industrialisation in certain sectors like defence is good, but making it the key pillar of your overall economic strategy when services make up 80% of GDP feels like a mistake.

It's not just people who already struggle to pay for fuel and heating who are struggling with heating costs. Plus those of us on heating oil don't have the benefit of paying monthly. We have to find over £1000 every time we refill. We don't get to spread that payment.

Nothing like realising one of your worst fears. Took myself out for a long walk into the forest. Rolled my f-ing ankle again. Had my phone, managed to message my husband and hobble to a pick up point. Was at just the right point to make that non a mountain rescue situation. Home, feet up.
