It’s not a huge thing, but I would love to see use of alternate and augmented communication on major television. Rebel is still speaking well, so she doesn’t need it, but it’d be neat to normalize it.

I am a complete sucker for a good concept album. During the few years that gave us American Idiot & Welcome to the Black Parade, a band called The Thermals released the absolute killer album The Body, the Blood, the Machine. The album is about a young couple trying the escape a fascist Christian US.

I just had the most incredible conversation with librarians from the library of congress who serve the Library of the Blind that (despite its name) actually serves EVERYONE with a "print disability" which includes blindness & low sight but ALSO includes ppl w ADHD, ALS, TBI, limb differences or 1/2
