...having the job of paying tribute as the voice of the company; one of my first commentary gigs was the promotion's first show after we lost Mad Kurt, and it's so tough to know how to convey the love a locker room has for a person when all you got into this to do was to call some wrestling matches.

I think about this a lot, and the grief this young company has had to go through. I think about Bryce and Eddie Kingston, who I grew to love as humans after Larry Sweeney's death, and how grossly unfair it is that such good souls should have to go through this so often. I think about Excalibur...

Life can be so unfair and tragic - and beyond human understanding or control. During my time on AEW Medical Staff (2021-2025) I met so many (not necessarily for clinical reasons) who were bright, friendly, kind and respectful people IRL I'm honored and so saddened to include the four men.

my little pac story was at a dguk meet and greet. i wanted to tell masato yoshino that he was my favourite wrestler and pac offered to translate. he turns to yoshino and in broken english shouts “YOU. HIM. FAVOURITE WRESTLER” and yoshino is very appreciative and shakes my hand.

It feels deeply unfair that the AEW (/ROH) Family is only 7 years old and has already had to grieve the deaths of 4 active wrestlers in that time (Brodie Lee, Jay Briscoe, The Butcher, and Pac).

The instinct to share something personal about Pac, but the amount of respect, care and commitment he had to wrestling and to being a professional is a line I can't bear to cross - but let that remind you just how good he was. Forever loved, forever respected. What a fucking Bastard.

I genuinely can't process the news that Pac has died. He was only 40. Just heartbroken for his friends and family. An incredible talent and his tribute to Andy "The Butcher" Williams is still on my mind. Please let the people you care about know how much they mean to you.

This btw is why a lot of Hangman fans wanted a much longer second title reign for him. He has so many past "affairs" that people who are fans of him would eat up as title feuds. I get Tony Khan probably sadly doesn't see Dark Order as a World Title Feud in the current year but I wanted it. 🤼‍♂️
