Green: Municipalities have been downloaded with tax cuts. Material conditions in cities will worsen. Property taxes will be hiked to backstop deferred investments in local infrastructure and social services, and the astronomical costs of policing. It's a reaction to the failures of our governments.

As some of you know, I'm working on a project looking at anti-gender/anti-trans politics and its impacts on SOGI asylum/refugee policymaking in Canada and the UK. I'm looking for interviewees to discuss their experiences as legal professionals, community supporters, and NGO workers. Please share!

Or, do you have lived experience in Canada or the UK as
an LGBTQ+ refugee or asylum-seeker?
Are you willing to share your experiences for a research project about the impact of anti-trans/anti-gender
politics on LGBTQ+ refugee and asylum claims?
What's Involved
You are invited for an interview of approximately one hour, to be
conducted online and at a time that suits you.
Your participation will be anonymous, and for your time, you will be compensated $20 (Canadian participants) or £15 (UK participants).

It takes very little time to realize that "Trade Barrier" is a euphamism for "public service" or "democratic expression of a way of doing things." If we just put Loblaw in charge, there'd be no barriers to moving food across Canada!
