I voluntarily gave up SSDI to go back to work. Then I fell behind on my premium payments and lost my Medicare. When I called to see what I could do to get it back they said I could quit my job, sign back up on disability and then I would get my Medicare back. Make it make it make sense.

Classifying autism as a legitimate reason for M.A.D. is a dangerous precedent. That isn’t to say that our life is easy and isn’t a huge struggle. It IS a huge struggle. And struggle isn’t a reason for us to die. It sets a precedent to show society, even further, that our lives aren’t worth it.
