The news is out. So thrilled for @lsepress.bsky.social author Naila Kabeer that her book, Renegotiating Patriarchy, has received this recognition - and that it is specifically for publishing open access. It is a wonderful read - a feminist story of progress, written with such care and nuance.

My book Conflict, War and Revolution with @lsepress.bsky.social has nearly 14k downloads, quite an achievement for a scholarly book. But the most wonderful aspect is global reach - despite coinciding with the war against Ukraine I have downloads in Russia and more surprisingly ten in Afghanistan!!!
