EVERY UK MP needs to read this You are all part of a government that is creating a situation so hostile and unsafe that people are leaving the country This is not an isolated case. You have the power to do something about this.

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

For those asking, the seats were based on the 1969 "Carousel" by American industrial designer Elsie Crawford and used the very a la mode new material of fibreglass. They pop up online for sale occasionally but we're talking multiple thousands of pounds

This kind of thing is infuriating and it is constant. PIP is an in-work benefit designed to cover the extra costs related to disability (and for most people it's desperately inadequate). Many people are only able to work because of the equipment, transport etc. that PIP makes available to them.

But people need a break. People need to consume art, it's what we are as a species. And people need to create, in whatever ways. That's not a 'nice to have', it's a necessity, and grinding it out of people is criminal. Just...don't let anyone tell you you oughtn't be creating, for whatever reason.

Livid that the assisted dying bill being voted down is being painted as religious zealots that all want people to die in agony. Everyone deserves to die in dignity, but they also deserve a robust bill with safeguards that reduces the chance of being coerced into it. That's what we fought for.

Curious to know if parent carers, who frequently have to spend time they don’t have stuck in the queue to speak to someone about their child’s Disability Living Allowance (DLA), will also get credit? 30 minutes+ waits are the norm on that one.
