Adam Porter, a housing development manager from the LGBT Foundation charity, says he regularly meets older members of the community in exactly that situation.

"It's very common for people to hide things if they have a carer visiting their home, for example hiding their wedding photos or taking down a trans flag," he says.

10 years wow! I watched it just a few months back and absolutely enjoyed it for its adorable awkward parts and everyday (very real) parenting madness! Found bits quite relatable as a solo parent. Brilliant acting too. Highly recommend it..though didn’t find Amandaland as good as this one.

When I lived in the UK none of my concerns e.g. affordable housing, climate action, increases in welfare spending, scrapping tuition fees, an ethical foreign policy, were ever framed as legitimate concerns. lnstead I was routinely told to fuck off by most political parties for having such concerns.
