Thank you Sir Keir Starmer for being the best PM the UK has had since I was born. Fuck you to all the back stabbers and traitors (both in and outside the Labour Party) who have worked to undermine you since you became leader. Fuck them all.

Just what will it take for politicians and media to act in the best interests of the country and to give voice to the majority of voters… who are decent and liberal? Instead of trashing the place, chasing after the approval of ignorant racists who seem to have a total monopoly on their attention.

If Labour think changing PM will help, it won’t. The media will hound and hate whoever takes Starmer’s place just as much. For some reason, they have a desperate desire to see Farage become PM. They are not acting in the national interest.

I know there’s a lot going on with the Labour Party, but it is all in the bounds of democratic politics. This however, paid collusion between the leaders of two political parties in the run up to election, if true, is a scandal of staggering propositions

Primarily, we have a media and social media problem… People are - deliberately - not informed. The agenda of those who own the media is in direct conflict with the best interests of the country. And the agenda is a race to the bottom, removing rights and protections to better exploit people.

The pressure within media to do awful things to get ahead, impress the person you want to end up like, or copy what you see others doing is considerable. It becomes normal and acceptable when celebrated and rewarded. And it's utterly toxic and hugely damaging. This is so upsetting to read.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers. This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.
A bird's-eye view of a former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp showing a wide dirt pathway flanked by parallel rows of barbed-wire fences. Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.

I know blaming the advisor is usually a distraction from problems at the top but since sacking a PM who won a huge majority 14 months ago is probably mad, and since they're not going to do it anyway, I really think they should sack the demonstrably useless advisor. www.politico.eu/newsletter/l...
It just could not happen in Britain: Nevertheless, one person well connected with No.10 told my colleagues Esther Webber and Sam Blewett in their must-read post-mortem of the sacking, that it was Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeny pushing for Mandelson to cling on. “Everyone was like, this is looking really bad for the prime minister and Morgan was like, no, we need to defend him,” the person told them. Read their whole piece.

Why, you might ask, do the BBC and Sky News, casting their editorial guidelines to the wind, keep giving massive airtime to the far right, while shutting out leftwing voices? Don't their bosses understand the likely consequences? Only one explanation now remains. They do. And it is what they want.

It's got to the stage where if 'you don't know anyone whose voting for Reform' you need to broaden your social circle.
Or, perhaps, reflect on what it is about your behaviour that means your friends don't feel able to be open with you about politics.
